Poor service cold food. Not much more to say about this visit. Resturant was at probaly half seating capacity. As soon as we sat down we were asked about our drink order a nd if we were ready to order. After waiting for way too long for 3 drinks to emerge our waitress showed up with 2 of 3 drinks. After another much shorter wait our third drink arrived. We ordered and continued our wait. After a more reasonable amount of time our food arrives-cold, Drinks-obviously empty and silver ware- 2 sets. The only food that came out remotely hot was served on a cast iorn plate. After watching our server (at this point i realy do not know what else to call her) look at our empty glasses and walk away. We had to lean out of the booth to get some ones attention to get a fork to use and to get refills on our drinks. Amazingly our check came before the end of the meal and that was the last we saw of the person who was supposed to be our waitress. Incase anyone from the resturant is reading this no we do not want to take the uneaten half of our daughters food home with us so she can eat it later, Thanks for asking. With all the awesome Mexican food in this town that is served promptly and hot, (I’m looking at you Jose Jalapeoes and El Trigre) there is absolutely no reason to stop here unless you want to be disappointed, frustrated and possibly, in hindsight food poisoning.
Seriously Delicious Food Made with Quality Fresh Ingredients. I wish I had one of these restaurants near me. My friend and I eat here whenever I visit. I simply love this place. The queso chorizo is made with their homemade sausage and is super flavorful and satisfying. The burritos, enchiladas and tacos are all incredible. Clearly, all primary ingredients are house made, prepared fresh, and generous in portion and flavor. The seafood is well-prepared and cooked to perfection. The chicken is perfectly stewed, the beef is incredibly seasoned, and the tortillas and tacos are made on the premises. Even the refritos are fantastic, as are the chips and salsa. My favorite item was the beautifully balanced guacamole. They have a knowledgeable waitstaff, and the bartenders crank out a tremendous variety of tequila and mezcal drinks and tasters. Fair warning, this place is highly addictive, and I would eat here three times a week if I lived nearby. A must try!
