I love this place! The turtle sundae is my fav.
Addictive!. Being from California, I had never tried…or even really heard of frozen custard. Upon getting a sweet tooth though and watching the food network, which recommended Andy’s, I decided to give it a try. Although I don’t particularly agree with orders being taken at the window when there is a line, it seems to work fine for the business. Especially when they will eventually send someone out to take your order if the line gets long enough. As for the custard…I became addicted! Andy’s was AMAZING! You get a smooth and creamy texture combined with whatever mix ins you desire. The result is a craving that keeps coming back with a vengence. I think I had Andy’s at least twice a week the first couple weeks I moved here. I actually don’t understand why ice cream is still around when frozen custard tastes so much better and has a better consistancy. So the custard is great and the service was fast and friendly. I do wish that the prices were a little lower though. If you’re looking for a cold dessert, give Andy’s a try. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself going back more and more.
The best custard in town. Good stuff: Andy’s definitely is the custard king in CoMo. Their custard is much creamier and thicker than Freddy’s or Culver’s. If you happen to visit when they have their peppermint concrete or Apple Pie Sundae, get them! They are some of the best frozen desserts I’ve ever had. Also, if you want to try Andy’s, sign up for their email list for a free $2.65 gift card. You can get an additional $4.30 gift card for inviting 10 friends to join their email list.Bad stuff: Although the 50s vibe is cool, the seating sucks. There are four backless benches and that’s it. Plan on standing while eating.Bottom line: As long as you don’t mind standing while eating, Andy’s is THE place for custard. You gotta try it!
I’ve never had a bad experience here or at any other Andy’s. The service is always top notch and the custard is fantastic. I normally go for the Ooey Gooey Concrete.
Wonderfully rich custard!. I take the kids here sometimes and always like it. Get your favorite ingredients together in a concrete or have a shake or a little cup of raspberry custard. It’s all good. If you’re lactose intolerant eat it anyway. It’s worth the price.
Good custard here, especially the chocolate (much more chocolatey and richer than Culver’s). Concretes are huge and delicious. Unfortunately you only get one free topping/ mix-in for free while you get 2 at Culver’s.The stolen brownie sundae is one of the best ice cream treats I’ve ever had. The brownie is both crispy and fudgy and the roasted pecans here are out of this world (crisp, snappy, and saltly).
This place is ballzin.
