Bagels are good…but…. To be clear, the bagels here are good. However, I don’t go out to get a bagel and just a bagel.The place is a little confusing and pretty busy on weekend mornings. For a newbie, I felt rushed and wanted to clearly see the bagel selection and cream cheese selection so I could give my order and get out of the way.Nothing too special or different in bagel options, nothing too exciting for cream cheese spreads.What makes me NOT choose B&B when going out for bagels is 1) price – expensive for a bagel and cream cheese, 2) cream cheese amount – maybe it was just that server, but my bagel came with a sad little smear of salmon cream cheese. I was so disappointed in how skimpy it was that I’ve just never returned.
The only bagel place in town. And that’s not saying much. I thought that the bagels weren’t anything too special, and that they were overpriced to boot. The hours also leave something to be desired. Went with a friend and we agreed there’s many other places in town where we can get a more satisfying meal.
Best bagel shop around. These are some of the best bagels anywhere. Fresh with a firm outside and a soft, doughy inside. My favorite thing to order on the menu is an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, tomato and red onion and a big cup of steaming hot Kaldi’s coffee. The pizza bagels are tasty too. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable at B&B. Compared to Panera, your dollar goes much further here.
Love it! Best bagels in town. One of the few plaxes that have salt bagels! Their chicken salad bagel used to be delicious but sadly is awful now. Pizza and veggie bagel sandwiches great though. Love the local feel- great place.
Best in town. Their boiled bagels are hands down better than any baked-only bagel. Wonderful crispy crust and soft, chewy center. I agree with the other review, the employees do remember your usual order, making B&B a great place to be a regular. I also enjoy the daily trivia question with a chance to win your bagel for free!

Bagels are high quality, spreads are tasty, and coffee well above average. Wait and drive by staff are pleasant and helpful. Best lox in town. Seating is somewhat cramped. I stop nearly every time I am on this part of town. Owner is a great person and active on board of local not-for-profit benefitting kids with diabetes. Shop and spend locally! A strong plus!
