The bagels are delicious here, but the organization for ordering and receiving food is chaotic. The turkey and provolone bagel is a great and simple order. I recommend NOT ordering iced coffee here, it was bitter and tasted similar to a concoction I could make at home. I will still return for fresh bagels.. on days when the crowd is lessened.
What’s special?. I’m a huge fan of local businesses, so I really wanted to like B&B Bagel. Despite the friendly workers and welcoming environment, I really have trouble liking this place. Why? Quite frankly, their bagels are nothing special. I’ve definitely had better from chains (e.g. Einstein Bros. and Bruegger’s). That being said, their prices are pretty reasonable (just over $2 for a bagel with cream cheese).Bottom line: Definitely nothing special, but the low prices and friendly faces make it an acceptable outlet for a bagel fix.
New York Comes To Columbia. Wow!!! I never thought I could find a bagel as good as what I used to get in New York, and…….. I didn’t…… until I found B&B Bagel Co. Having moved away from NY 11 yrs. ago, I’ve been on a bagel quest ever since; and even though I found some (Panera Bread) that were pretty good, nothing can compare to B&B bagels. Thank you for bringing a part of New York to Columbia.
