I have tried this restaurant several times since it opened. It’s biggest flaw is how inconsistent it is. I have received amazing dishes, but I have also received frozen samosas, which were returned to us after a complaint re-deep fried with a bite missing. I have also suffered from inconsistent spice levels, and ingredient use in the same dish.
No decent curry, few vegetarian options for a Thai restaurant. The samosas are good, that’s about it. There are better Thai restaurants in columbia
Never again….. they do not even have decent curry, food has no flavor!! very disappointing. Save your money!
Bangkok Gardens is a good place for generic Thai food. Low cost, good service and sufficient choices on the menu. Would return again.
If you have an hour for lunch dont go. I have gone there many times and I always enjoy the food. Today I went after buying a groupon that could only be used for lunch on Friday or Saturday. So we went there at lunch and after 50 mins of waiting for the food to arrive we had to ask the server to make it to go. The server said he was sorry but the kitchen was backed up. The place was not even close to being full. Not understanding the restrictions for the groupon if they cant even serve you in a timely matter on those said days.
Just OK.. If you’re in college, this is a fine place for stir-fry. By no means think that you’re going to get Thai food. Stay away from the noodle dishes, the other entrees are OK. The chicken tastes pre-cooked, but the beef and pork taste fine.
Tofu. Bangkok makes the best tasting tofu I have ever had: firm, crispy, and imparted with flavor. The pad thai with peanut sauce in a 5 (spiciest) is delicious, and is perfect in the lunch special with 2 mini spring rolls. The owner could use a lesson or two in hospitality, however.
