Great Polish food. What an unexpected surprise! The food was authentic and fabulous!
Wonderful food. I was in Columbia for the day from St. Louis and just happened to pass by Cafe Poland and decided to try it. Had the Bean Stew. What a treat!! It was fabulous. I intend to visit Columbia again soon, if only to try something else on their munu. It honestly was good enough to prompt another trip just to sample their menu.
Cafe Poland. This is my favorite restaurant. The food is very fresh – they use REAL potatoes!!! No flakes. Very tasty and affordable. If you haven’t had borsch, this is the place you should go to try it! You might be surprised.
Great little place, clean and tidy and the food was delicious. We stopped in traveling from South Dakota after hunting. It is only 4 miles from the interstate and a 1000 times better than anything the interstate could offer and much more relaxing. The owner said next time we need to get the goulash. This place is definitely worth a stop.
Friendly, Fast, Delicious. We stopped in to try Pierogies for the first time. We had the farmer’s cheese and potatoes. VERY good. It feels like home in there and the staff is very friendly. The coffee was amazing too!
Homespun Goodness. Cafe Poland is a happy place for two reasons:1. It reminds you of dining in someone’s home. A mother and son run this small operation, and the food has a comforting, homemade taste. Food is served on paper plates.2. The food is exceptional! Both times I’ve dined here, I’ve had their pierogies and left with a smile on my face. The fact that this place is in CoMo is a miracle.Bottom line: The humble environment, homey feel, and superb food make this place a must dine!
Discovered this place last year and am so grateful it is in Columbia. The owners take so much pride in their food and it really shows. They work so hard to show all of us the beauty of authentic polish food
