Just bad. really bad. My fried rice was vibrant yellow, out of bottled water, overly salted, and no patron-available trashcans to throw out easily some of the worst Chinese food I’ve had. Only came here because our usual choice for Chinese food (ABC Chinese) was closed for the day. Never again.
I actually recommend China Star to anyone want cheap food delivered quickly to their door. The food is great, super cheap and I’ve never waited longer than 20 minutes for my food.
Unacceptable. I have ordered from here twice for delivery and both times i have been extremely dissatisfied! It took over an hour both times for the food to be delivered and both times the food was sub par. I DO NOT suggest this place to anyone!
Absolutely awful. They messed up my food and then when i went back in to have it fixed the woman argued with me about it. As someone who works in the food service i woulc never argue with a guest like that. After countless minutes of arguing with this woman about what i ordered i gave up and stormed out. Ill never go there again, if i wanted to be treated like that while getting food i would have gone to McDonalds and gotten better tasting food for a tenth of the price. Completely disgusted with their lack of customer service and low quality of food.
DONT GO. The worst chinese food. In the world. Seriously. Waste of money and time yuck.
Fast, Fresh, and Friendly. I’m not sure what happened with previous reviewers, but I’ve never had anything from China Star that wasn’t very good. The people who work there (maybe own it?) appear to try very hard to make sure everything is correct and delivered quickly.Yes, it’s Americanized Chinese food, but guess what. So is almost every Chinese restaurant in America – just like that’s not real Mexican food at your favorite taco joint.China Star isn’t my favorite Chinese restaurant in the country, but it’s by far much better than the literally hundreds of other ones I’ve tried.
I love China Star. I totally disagree with these other posters. I think China Star has v. good food at great prices. Their delivery is fast and accurate. And sometimes they even through in something free. Last night we got an entire extra quart of lo mein for free!
