Solid Restaurant. I was visiting some relatives in Columbia and they told me good things about this place. What a nice restaurant. Comfortable atmosphere and seating. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Awesome food & drink. I had some wine and a delicious pineapple martini. I forget what appetizer we had. The salad was amazing and the seafood pasta was INCREDIBLE. So delicious and tasty. A great experience all-around. Would definitely recommend and visit again!!
Underrated. Good food. The specials they have actually look much more interesting than their regular menu. I had a salmon special and it was fantastic. I licked my plate. Service was ok, it took a while for the waiter to take our order after bringing our appetizer. This restaurant is definitely underrated. I lived here 5 years and just ate there for the first time last week. One thing I will negatively comment on is the dessert tray. When I heard the waiter ask if we wanted to see the dessert tray, I had to see this for myself. I’m pretty sure this is something you are told NOT to do in a restaurant business. The desserts might have been very good, but the dessert tray concept made them look incredibly unappetizing. I don’t know how long the desserts have sat there, but they looked pretty gross. I did not order one. Chris McDs, a simple dessert menu will suffice!
Very very pleased. Most excellent all around. Service, atmosphere, presentation, and food were all at or above expectations! Our server did many little things that you expect (but still many establishments don’t follow through with) from a restaurant who really cares about your experience and your continued business. The food was great. Seafood bisque a very unique recipe, creme Burlie was exquisite with a nice light but flavor packed taste, chicken was unbelievable. Everything was great, if you have the chance, visit Chris Mc D’s!

Excellent, fresh food! Not …. Excellent, fresh food!Not the ordinary menu…small plates available.The tomato, mozz, basil salad was a great start to the lamb chops w/mushroom risotto, both cooked perfectly!!!The house salad is so fresh & cucumber, dill dressing is light & compliments the veggies!The smoked salmon was excellent w/the garlic smashed pot’s!!!Our only regret is we didn’t have room for dessert!
I can’t help but keep coming back to Chris Mc D’s, and why should I with their seasonally changing menu and rotating desserts. I wasn’t too surprised when I learned the Chef Chris McDonnell has competed in several food network competitions. I get the creme brle everytime while my fianc has ventured into many different desserts each one as delicious as the one before. We have both enjoyed every meal we have ever received here! Love love love it!
This place was terrible. It’s horribly over priced & awful service. We had to ask for water & silverware & didn’t get waited on for a half an hour. It took 2 hours for us to eat with two courses. The staff was also rude. Do not go here.
