Excellent. Although we didn’t have any coffee, it smelled terrific. We walked all over downtown on a Sunday looking for some place to have lunch that wouldn’t break the bank. As we walked by, I initially thought there was no way the prices would be reasonable, but I was happily surprised when I stuck my head in and saw the menu. Their prices are excellent and the food we had was superb.Service was prompt and the wait for our food was almost nil. My wife and daughter each got a gyro and I had the falafel wrap. The gyros were every bit as good as the best I’ve ever had. It was my first time trying falafel, so I had nothing to compare it to, but I enjoyed it so much that it has inspired me to make them from scratch at home.We will definitely be going back there again.

Halfway there. Starting with the good: Coffee Zone’s environment is probably the best in Columbia. Fairly quiet and quite relaxing, it definitely tops Lakota’s nursing home-esque feel, Kaldi’s busy vibe, and Starbucks lack of space. Unfortunately, my latte and house-made pistachio baklava were very mediocre. The latter was in dire need of more sweetness and was really pricey at $2 for a small piece. The latte was very mediocre.Bottom line: If environment is first priority, this is your place. If you want good coffee or treats, look elsewhere.

Excellent 5stars!. I love this place… I wish there was something similar to this in Moberly, but I just have to make the drive down to Columbia for it. Also, being gone at least 6 months out of the year is a pain, but I hear they are getting close to letting me order coffee by the pound from them online. I can’t wait! Anyway, great food, great coffee and awesome atmosphere. I give the staff a huge THUMBS UP as they are always spectacular as well.

Coffee Zome is a great place to spend a long night of studying and eating/drinking drinks. The environment is great, and the food was pretty good as well.

Terrific Food, Drinks, Ambiance!. I love the food… above and beyond everything else, the food is amazing. The coffee… well the Rocket Fuel is strong, full-bodied and delicious…. the other drinks…. honestly I drink Rocket Fuel so the only other drinks I’ve had are Rocket Fuel, or maybe a frozen Lemonade. If you have never been to the Zone, you should try it, if you’ve been but haven’t tried the food then you’re missing out on some of the best food in Columbia!

I graded on espresso quality alone. The food all looked ok, though I doubt it’s terribly fresh. A nice Native American theme inside. But again, I don’t like shelling out 2.50 for an espresso from a fully auto machine. No art, no technique to it. The barista pressed a button and walked away. Also, beware of the $3 debit/credit minimum.
