Custard is rockin!. Culver’s has good custard. I like their flavor of the day options and their concretes are quite tasty.As far as Andy’s vs. Culver’s, here’s my two cents:Andy’s definitely has a cooler vibe, but the seating situation sucks (a few backless benches and outdoor only). Culver’s has lots of seating inside and out, but feels (and smells) awfully similar to a Dairy Queen. Quality wise, Andy’s is better than Culver’s. Andy’s is much more creamy and thicker and their concrete/sundae flavors are more innovative. Bottom line: Good stuff! However, if you want the best custard in town and don’t mind standing while you eat, Andy’s is a much better bet.
Culver’s. It’s pretty much like every other Culvers I’ve been in. The food is great (although I dislike their crinkle cut fries), the staff is friendly, and the place is spotless. Their prices are high compared to other fast food places, but Culvers isn’t really fast food.
I usually just get custard here and you can’t go wrong with their custard. Coupons are plentiful around town which makes it a deal. In the evenings they also give out free coffee (at least they did the last couple times I was there). The manager or owner of the location even brought coffee to my friend and I when we asked where the coffee cart was! Great service.
I keep trying to give them a shot, but everytime I go I don’t like what I get. The only good thing is the frozen custard!
Good and Fast. I got a chicken sandwich and fries at Culver’s the other night and it was fast hot and the service was fast and friendly.
Butter burgers rule. The butter burger, although probably really bad for you, is a stroke of genius. Yum!
Tenderloins are awesome.
