Very good overall. Rice/beans & salsa were a bit bland, however the fish tacos are to die for!! Some of the best I’ve ever had!
Salsa and chicken fajitas on point.
I just had a poor experience. The chips they brought out with the salsa were burned and tasted awful! I sent them back and they waffled about it saying that they were all the same. They were right, they were all awful! I noticed on the way out everyones chips were left uneaten. Yuck. I wont be returning. They didnt even offer a price reduction even when i complained to the manager!
Tasteless but fast. Seating was fast and the food came fast. I ordered a combo plate with a chile Rellenos and an enchilada. A couple of minutes after I ordered the waiter said they were out of rellenos. My choices were a taco or another enchilada. I ended up with two beef enchiladas with rice and beans. Food was terrible. I have never had less flavorful mexican food and I include the periodic TV dinner in the rating pool. The enchilada was unseasoned hamburger in a tortilla with sauce, no cheese no flavor. Beans weren’t even warm enough to melt the cheese on them. Rice was luke warm and looked a lot tastier than it was. So if you want fast tasteless Mexican food this is the spot for you.
Highly Recommend !. Been here multiple times, always get a great meal. Busy or slow period, staff is quick to seat me and server is attentive. The true test of a Mex place … chips + salsa. Just outstanding! Entries, either full plate or something smaller have been great. Prices are great too … can go in and get chips + salsa and something light and get out for less than $10. Outstanding !
The best. The food is always GREAT here.So when you add in the excellent margaritas and service you just cant go wrong. My pic is taken here on my birthday and that was one helluva drink!
Considering that it is difficult to find a meal priced over ten dollars, the portions are in fact very large. They selections for those wishing for an Americanized taste as well as for something more authentic. Upon request the staff will replace the flour tortillas for fresh corn tortillas and the change is highly recomended. El Jimador is strongly recomended for a casual lunch or dinner.
