Pick any other Mexican in Como. The food is mediocre, the margaritas are watered down, and the service was awful and rude. After multiple visits with similar results it’s time to give it up. El Maguey is consistently below par across the board.
The best! Try the chicken soft taco, enchilada verde with the regular chicken or pork, and the green salsa. The green salsa is a hidden gem. It is a little spicy for the regular joe but if you like any kind of spice it’s awesome. Great drink specials including $1 margaritas, and 32oz beers for $2.50. Always good cold beer. Wonderful employees and a great atmosphere. The best restaurant in town.

Family friendly…Excellent food!!!
This was the worst Mexican restaurant I have had the misfortune to eat in. The food was drowned in some terrible sauce, and the service wasn’t that good either. Avoid this like the plague.
Maguey. Gringo food. Watered down Mexican. Might as well go to Taco Bell… Cross the parking lot to taqueria Rodeo and have delicious and authentic food.
Yum. Love the margarita’s!! Good food and atmosphere also. Try the tamales…they kick ass.
