Not sure what the draw is here. The breakfast was mediocre. I had pancakes to compare them with Lucy’s; they were not as good. Others at the table had omelets which they said were fine but not stellar. We all really decided the benefits of Ernie’s are the cleanliness and the friendliness of the servers/staff. Would not go back as it was not worth the 1/2 hour wait.
Great Prices!. I heard about the all day breakfast (at least until closing at 2pm) and the low prices and had to give Ernie’s a try. The boyfriend and I took out lunch break at Ernie’s and he had a breakfast special and I the chopped cow. The staff was super friendly and treated each other, as well as us, as family. We got our food super fast and it tasted great. It was good old diner food in an old fashioned setting. When we got the bill it was even better! For the quality and portions, the prices were low. Ernie’s has been open for a long time, and I’m glad that they have stuck to what really matters. It’s not about the money, it’s about good people serving each other good food. Great job Ernie’s!
I had been a regular for a long time, the food is alright, but the service was amazing. The staff was so incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, they raised the prices, cut the specials, and is not the value it use to be.

Ernie’s. Big breakfast on the cheap. Quirky seating areas, something of a catacomb. Not paying for fancy just big portions of an honest breakfast !! 🙂
Passing through from utah. Really glad we found this place. Great atmosphere, good food, and its not a Denny’s or Ihop – thank gawd!
The food is great and I love the staff they make you feel right at home. Breakfast worth stopping to have and get your day started off right
