  Completely mediocre.. I tried Formosa’s for the first time yesterday and I was not impressed. The prices were on par with your typical Chinese food place, but the food itself was very bland. The delivery driver who brought it to my apartment looked as though he was on heroin… he could barely articulate a response to me. I ordered a few different dishes as well as some soup, and it seems as though nothing was cooked properly… it all tasted as though it was thrown together in a hurry and the flavors had not had time to really infuse themselves in the tofu, meat, and vegetables. The seafood soup that I had was this watery, flavorless mix of veggies, a couple small shrimp, some imitation crab meat, and maybe 2-3 pieces of scallop. Needless to say, I was not impressed. I won’t be ordering from them again. Oh, they also add a dollar onto your order by default if you get delivery, which stinks! You also have to order a minimum of $16 worth of stuff in order to get delivery. My advice is to skip this place entirely and go with Jingos. Jingos isn’t all that fantastic either, but it’s definitely much better than Formosa.

  Good dinner combo meals that come with some nice extras. The food was good and the location is pretty neat (great view over Broadway). Cozy place that’s good for a casual date.

  Gross Food. I couldn’t even finish my chicken. i was cold and soggy. i will never order from here again.
