Good food, bad service. The good: Menu diversity rocks, especially for a chain. I really like their small plate idea, where you can try many items in smaller portions instead of ordering a single entree. Lots of vegetarian options too. My wife and I really enjoyed the wild mushroom enchiladas, wild mushroom and arugula flatbread, and the veggie burger slider. All were well-seasoned and very very good! The environment is pretty cool too.The bad: Our waitress was bad. Her inattentiveness resulted in only one drink refill during our whole visit, even though my glass was empty for a considerable amount of time.Bottom line: Houlihan’s offers a large selection of really good food in a fun, modern environment. Its excellence in these areas more than makes up for the shoddy service. If you’re craving modern american food, this is your place!
Nice place, wasn’t crowded, went on fourth of july. Was happy to see something open on the holiday. I had the chicken enchiladas, wife had pot roast. Portions were generous, and we were both happy with our choices, even if she scooted the celery and mushrooms to the side. Oh almost forgot, I had the chicken tortilla soup, and she ordered a side salad- waiter was nice, and listened to requests for no lemon on ice tea, as well as great(and quick) presentation of the soup/salad… I would recommend allowing time if they are busy, since I think we caught them with good staffing, and low customer headcount.
Good food, not good service. Went for a late dinner, only 3 other tables had customers yet had to wait, and ask, for drink refills and service. Ordered another glass of wine before meal came, after meal had been there 5 minutes manager I flagged manager down and asked for my drink. Food was good, we had seared scallops, ahi tuna salad and chicken parm, but not good enough for the price with the poor service.
Variety of delicious foods for all kinds of eaters. Great happy hour specials. My favorite is the salad with tuna and banana vinegarette dressing.
Food is decent, prices not so much. The food is pretty okay here, but not worth the price. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff…
