I’m out. I’ve been here twice. They are shooting for some kind of Asian fusion, and that’s just not to my liking. I’d rather eat at Panda Express. If I could give zero stars, I would. I won’t be coming back here.
Kung Pao with Korean B.B.Q. Beef. A normal king pao platter with the meat being the B.B.Q.18 Apr, 2015Go here when someone else pays. Food is good, but pricey. Portion was small but since I wasn’t really hungry it was adequate for that particular episode. Here’s something different. the Korean B.B.Q. is not a platter, it is something that you add to a platter, in my case kung pao. Also, it’s hard to see after dark. There is a well-lit entranceway before you get to the restaurant, but if you don’t know that it’s in that particular plaza you won’t be cognizant of its location ’til you pass it. there is a street further down that can doubleback on and come in through the rear of the plaza10 May, 2013Came for the beef, distracted by the duck. I’ve been a fan of duck ever since i was introduced to it by the Belmont Diner (ex-Collmont Diner) as a Sunday special. haven’t found too many places in Missouri that offer it, so when I see it i jump at it.came here wanting to try the Bulgogi but saw that they had a duck breast special on the board so went with it. they did a fantastic job.regretfully have to agree that it was pricy for dinner and that the wait staff absented itself too long too many times.but i look forward to a return visit.
Not satisfied. Ordered one meal to go. Got something We didn’t order got $5 knocked off they said. Fortunately for them the tip was almost $5. We will never return to Jina Yoos. Will share this news!!!!
Jinas Balls. Amazing! Rice, Crab, get them by the pair.13 Sep, 2014B.a.P.T. Bad Ass Pad Thai13 Sep, 2014Without a doubt the best Asian cuisine in Columbia. We loves this place and visit it often. The apps are amazing, there are great sushi rolls, delicious Pad Thai, and the desserts are incredible. I have tried almost everything, so very delicious.
The first time I went, I loved the sushi we ordered. Treasure Island, although not a sushi roll, is so delicious!!! However the second time I went we ordered just entree items. The bibimbap should not be called bibimbap. I understand the concept of a fusion restaurant but the only thing remotely resembling authentic bibimbap is the gochujang-like sauce served on the side. I was very confused why the whole dish was drowning in a teriyaki-like sauce. I mean just drowning. I couldn’t even finish it because the sauce was all I tasted and it overpowered the whole dish. Also, there was no egg on it. I couldn’t distinguish any of the other ingredients because of the sauce. Far from a successful fusion dish. The other dish we ordered wasn’t great either. If you go, stick with the sushi.
Long wait. We have given this restaurant several tries. It has never been a great experience, just OK. We have had some good (overpriced) food on occasion. Our most recent visit had us waiting an unreasonable amount of time for our food! When it arrived it was beautiful and the flavor was OK but every sauce had a sweet taste to it so by the time we were finished we felt like it was just too much sweet. Service was OK but nothing great either. Average hyped-up restaurant.
Good but Pricy. The food here is always good and it’s one of the extremely rare places in Columbia that mixes up a good mojito. That said, the price can be excessive in the dinner shift.
