Worst service ever!. We went here last week and our drink order was taken when we sat in the middle of the front part of the cafe. we looked at the menus and decided what we wanted and laid them to the side of the table. we got passed by two different waitresses several times while one talked to and guy on the side. we watches two other groups come in and sit down and one local who’s order was taken quickly. We waited. And waited. The other two groups orders were taken. When I went to get out money for my soda; so we could go to another place with service. The lady walked over to take our order. We’d been past up several times and she waits til I get money out to take our order?? Then she had the nerve to say she was just gives us time to look at the menu(which had been at the edge of the table for ten minutes). The nerve to blame the customer. I couldn’t even look at her! I left before there was a scene. I’ll never darken these door again! I had introduced some others to this place but no good will be said again. Bad business.
Everything is a winner. Great family owned place.
Good Missouri Home Cooking. I recommend JJ’s Caf for reasonably priced meals and desserts that are typical for Missouri cooking. For example: Chick Fried Steak and Blackberry Cobbler-both were good.
