Good food, incompetent waitress. They are now located in a lunch counter type plaza inside a shopping center, so seating is limited.food was pretty good.waitress did not know the answer to anything and was slow to do anything, so I had the same problem that others did.some food is cooked on your table, the tables do allow for that and we observed another table’s meal being cooked.they are also opened on Sunday late afternoon ’til evening, most Korean places are closed all day Sunday.
The only place in town that has the other half of Korean cuisine. Jjigae (stew), fried fish, ba chan(korean apitizers which are always free), Mandu, and sundae(Korean blood sausage), and other things. Check them out and be adventurous.
I was hoping this would be a traditional Korean BBQ place where you could cook the food yourself on the grills at the table, but they told us that because of fire codes, they aren’t allowed to use them. Total bummer. The bibimbap is very good, but the service is terrible. It takes forever for the waitress to even acknowledge your existence.
Best Korean in town. This is my favorite korean restaurant in Columbia. Get the bibimbap or bulgogi. I haven’t tried anything besides these two dishes because they are delicious and I know I can’t go wrong ordering them. I’m pretty sure it’s family owned, and the staff is really nice.
A true family Korean Restaurant. Authentic Kirean fare and thank the stars no Benihana type of showmanship. Great home cooked food. Wine, beer and Korean Eice Wine served. First time having Korean ‘sake’ which this label I had included Ginseng in it. It’s kick-ass with a unique flavor. Large Koren community in Columbia. For non-frills and home cooked Kirean food come down here and try ut
KOJABA- hidden gem. Kojaba is my favorite restaurant in columbia. The food is very flavorful, and if you’re not used to Korean food, very unique and interesting. Try a soup or a bibim bap. yum yum!
Korean food is amazing!. I didn’t know anything about Korean food before I went to Kojaba. I guess I thought they ate Chinese food half the time and Japanese food half the time. Wrong! Korean food is unique and absolutely wonderful! Healthy and fresh like other Asian food, and super spicy like Mexican food! The house soup is the best soup in Columbia, and also an excellent value.
