Disappointing. We eat a lot of frozen yogurt in various cities. Orange Leaf in Columbia is a real disappointment. I find it insulting that adults are not permitted to get their own samples and have to let the attendant get it. There are very few fat-free options and often none of those options are frozen yogurt, but sorbet. The yogurt is also very high in calories compared to other brands. The experience at Orange Leaf is just not pleasant. I can’t believe that this is the only option for frozen yogurt this month as Yogoluv is closed until February. I’d rather go without yogurt than go to Orange Leaf.
Okay frozen yogurt place. Yet another frozen yogurt place to try out in MO. While I personally am not hooked, its alright. There are lots of toppings and flavors to chose from. Some hits and misses: hits with the wedding cake, misses with the mochi (too hard, scooping it out was even a problem). The place is more of a hang out place with friends with lots of tables and chairs and tables to sit on, which is good. The place is a little understaffed, which makes service slow.
I have try yogurt few times in here on summer time. I love their yogurt. They have too many flavors you can choice!
Decent But Furniture Problems. The yogurt is decent, there’s a nice variety of toppings and the price isn’t bad for one of the pay by weight frozen desert places. But there is a huge problem, and that’s the horrible furniture. If you are average height or above the bizarre chairs are going to be extremely uncomfortable. Plus for some reason drink options are extremely limited, all i’ve seen them sell is bottled water and at a high price at that. If you really like frozen yogurt and don’t feel like just making the drive to Schnucks or Gerbes to make it yourself MAYBE i’d recommend this but i would love more than anything for them to add some furniture with people over three feet tall in mind.
THE BEST fro-yo in town!. If you haven’t yet been to Orange Leaf, you must go. We have been to all of the frozen yogurt and frozen custard places in Columbia, and this is by far our favorite! Having been spoiled by excellent yogurt in the Bay Area and San Diego, CA, we are thrilled to finally, after 12 years here, have something comparable!
Orange Leaf Turns Over a New Leaf. UPDATED 10/16:Another free gift certificate compelled me to go back to Orange Leaf for a third time after two bad experiences. I don’t know what they did to their yogurt, but it has markedly improved. All of the ones I sampled were very creamy, had a perfect consistency, and were very tasty overall. Moreover, they now have bowl separators, which are a godsend for idiots like me who compulsively pile incoherent flavors in one bowl. About the toppings, they have a pretty decent selection (including the amazing and absolutely necessary peanut butter syrup). My one complaint is that they need to label the toppings. Crumbled candy bars look awfully similar, and it’s easy to accidentally get the wrong one.Bottom line: Orange Leaf has some distinguishing features that make it rise above competitors: a cool, contemporary environment, solid toppings selection, and bowl options (waffle bowls and compartmentalized bowls). It’s definitely as good as Red Mango, maybe even a little better. Give it a shot!
Ehh. Orange Leaf has a lot of variety and is pretty well priced compared to Red Mango and Yogoluv, but I’m still partial to Red Mango. My friend had the cheesecake flavored yogurt and said it tasted like sour milk and personally, I like Red Mango’s chocolate flavor way better. It doesn’t taste as sugary.
