Surprised!. Just when I thought the world couldn’t handle any more Chipotle clones, I found Pancheros. Thinking the fresh-mex scene had been beaten to death, I was thoroughly surprised with how much I liked Pancheros. So here’s their main differentiating factor: fresh-pressed tortillas. What does this mean? They have pre-cut lumps of tortilla dough that they press flat and grill to order. And the gimmick actually results in a noticeably tastier tortilla.Another cool differentiating factor: they mix the ingredients of your burrito. This really helps with avoiding mouthfuls of just one ingredient (i.e. a big bite of tortilla and lettuce). So how do these gimmicks translate into the end product? Both my wife and I agreed that we liked Pancheros better than Chipotle. While Chipotle still holds a slight edge in freshness, Pancheros more extensive menu, and its superior tortillas make it a real winner. You gotta check it out!
LOVED IT!! Fun and helpful staff 🙂 the burrito I had was perfectly cooked! Love the fact that I can add queso and there’s lots of toppings to choose from. I also LOVE the way they make their tortillas. Glad I found this place! I will be back 🙂
Had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a chicken burrito. They cook the burrito tortilla to order and mix your ingredients before rolling it. They also have queso! The one thing chipotle lacks. Glad I took a chance and stopped in.
I really liked it. Very similar to Chipotle with small differences. Good salsas and flavor. Burritos are a bit smaller but I find that a plus (less gut busting). I didn’t add the queso sauce to my burrito this time, but it looked good! They also mix your fillings before rolling the burrito to distribute stuff!
Had high expectations and hopes for something differently. Turns out to be just a knock off of Chipotle. Big buck for such small portions.
