Did a very bad thing that I hate. I don’t care if this is the Midwestthe only time imitation crab is remotely acceptable is in cheap seafood salad from Subway or the grocery store. The seafood pasta I got here was godawful.
Lobster Ravioli and Mayfair Salad. I have eaten at the Pasta Factory 5 times (2 lunches and three dinners) since they moved from Downtown Columbia, Mo. and every time the food was excellent and so was the service. Most recently I had the Lobster Ravioli with a Blue Cheese sauce. The Blue Chesse did not overpower the dish, it was perfect. My only criticism is that I had a Mayfair Salad but the dressing was not Mayfair. It was made with, bacon grease! Awful. That is a big bad mark on an otherwise excellent restaurant.
Bland. Tasteless food and inconsistant service. The best thing I’ve ever had there is the fried zuccini. I’d go back just for that. The bread can be good if it is warm and fresh which niether one is always the case. I sometimes come out happy and many times not.
Great food & atmosphere!. Tortellini with peas and prosciutto is my favorite! Add a salad and glass of wine and your set! Great staff who sincerely care about their customers!
Now re-located. The owners did a good job of outfitting their new strip mall location with many of the furnishings from their previous downtown location. This is not great food, but it’s pretty good. Their house italian salad is very good, as is their lunch quiche special (at least the bacon/cheddar/scallion one).

Greatness!. I have been to Rome before and eaten real Italian food. It may not be quite that good but its darn well near close! I love eating here for both atmosphere and service but mostly the FOOD. Huge portions, great taste, near genuine Italian taste on their pasta dishes from my experiences. Good wine selection to boot and their prices on everything are reasonable for what you get and how much you get. One of my staple places for Italian fare!
