YUM!!! My boyfriend and I are food junkies and we love trying new ice cream places. We had a great experience at Randy’s- they have the smoothest, most delicious custard… with fun color-changing spoons! Great customer service and cheap price for the quality of the custard. A MUST TRY!

Disgusting. My boyfriend and I usually go to Andy’s and customize a concrete so we thought we would try the same thing we get at Andy’s but at Randy’s. It was horrific. The pecans were old and tasted horrible. The chocolate chips were hard and tasted like plastic. The custard was hardly custard. It was liquidy and melted. None of it tasted good. Do not come here. It’s way too expensive for the bad quality. Andy’s and Culver’s have amazing custard and you’re much better off spending your money there! Service isn’t great either.

This is the 2nd time getting 2 large concrete with only pecans and again both times the pecans have beenrancid. This is getting very troublesome. Making DQ sound much better. May or may not go back.

Doesn’t Quite Cut It. Randy’s faces tough competition in the frozen custard-laden town of Columbia. My biggest issue with Randy’s is its prices. It’s as expensive (if not more expensive) than Andy’s custard (the custard king of CoMo), and the quality of its custard and toppings is about three-quarters that of Andy’s. I had a turtle sundae at Randy’s, and they put way too much caramel on it, and the caramel had a chemically taste.Bottom line: Randy’s doesn’t have a place in the CoMo custard scene: Culver’s is cheaper and just as good, and Andy’s is much much better.

Decent Custard. Upon hearing that Randy’s was around for a while I decided to give it a try and compare it to Andy’s, Culvers, and Freddy’s. Well, their custard hear is about on the same level as the fast food places. I went through the drive through and ordered a mint chocolate chip custard. I asked for a lid since I was in the car and was soon on my way. One thing to note is that you’re probably better off without the lid. For starters, they already overflow the cup with custard, then stick the spoon in, and finally the lid. Well…the whole in the lid is too small for the spoon so you once again have to remove the lid which then makes a mess along with the now overflowing container the custard came it. The custard was also way thinner and more melted than any other custard I’ve had. Melted custard is kind of gross. It curbed my sweet tooth and is close to home, but if I want really good custard I will stick to Andy’s from now on.

Lots of Choices!. If you are in the mood for a rich, creamy dessert Randy’s is the place to go! They have many classic options like shakes and malts, but then they also have an impressive assortment of flavor varieties for their concretes. Fun options for adults and kids alike. The price is not bad for the amount you receive. The service is efficient and friendly.

Awful Experience. I have never written a restaurant review before, but I really feel the need to let people know about what just happened to me and my sons. Im still in shock! I wanted to take my sons out for an ice cream treat for doing so well on their exams today in school. We were right by Randys Frozen Custard, so we thought wed give it a try & went through the drive-thru. A woman took our order for 2 concretes and we drove up and I paid with my Visa card. I asked for a receipt and she handed me the receipt from the cash register. I said thanks, but I also need my credit card receiptI always get a receipt when I use my credit card. The woman turned to a man who had been making our drinks and said she wants a Visa receipt. He came to the window and said we dont provide receipts for credit card transactions. I said Id never heard of anyone not providing credit card receipts, but that I really needed one (I had problems in the past from a small vendor and so I always get a receipt). He said, in a pretty rude tone, We dont buy the paper because it is too expensive and we already gave you a receipt. I looked at the receipt, and it was for the correct amount, but it showed I paid cash for it. I said look, I really need a credit card receipt, I didnt pay cash for the treat, and I really would like a receipt showing my transaction. I didnt want to offend him by saying I didnt trust him, so I just said its how I track my expenses. He then got very defensive and told me look, lady, you are the only person in 10 years that has a problem with this and you have a receipt from the cash register and thats all youll get. As a customer, you can imagine I was surprised at his tone, and what seemed like anger. I asked him his name in hopes to at least let the owner know how badly Id been treated. Imagine my surprise when he said my name is Scott and Im the owner and general manager. The only think I could think to say was wow, because I was in such shock that a local store owner of a small business would talk to a customer in such a rude way. He then said good bye and tried to shut the drive thru window on me when I said Hey wait! Dont you think Visa might have an issue with you not providing receipts for customers who ask and he told me to go ahead and report him. I said I wouldnt return and he said, sarcastically, fine, have a good day, and then shut the window in my face. I really am not sure how this store has survived with an owner treating people so rudely. I would think if I owned a store, I might at least be nice and apologetic with a paying customer, especially one with their sons in the back seat of the car who heard it all…Im embarrassed for him and I most definitely would not recommend you go to Randys Custard, especially if you have kids with you.
