French onion soup was really gross, however, not judging the store till I get a sub of course….just don’t recomment the french oion soup…
Delish and Depressing. These are the best sandwiches in Columbia. I always loved the Italian sausage with onions and peppers. But unless you’re a psychological masochist get your grub to go; the place is gray, downbeat and depressing.
Ms. B. The vegetarian with BACON is by far the best sub ever. I tried it once without the bacon and it really needs the bacon. I know it will be an added cost but really worth it. I would also recommend having their fabulous brownie for dessert.
Used to be much better 25 years ago, but quality has gone down over the years. Meatball used to be my favorite before I went meatless. Veggie is okay.
Solid but Uninspired. The veggie on wheat sandwich was tasty but did not stand out as the best sandwich of my life. It was a cold rainy day and a cup of the French Onion soup hit the spot very well. It you want a nice meal this is a good choice but I would not make a special trip to this restaurant, if your goal is to ‘savor the flavor of Columbia’.
Try the hoagie- great subs like planet sub and yelo sub in kc. Recommend the downtown location, better food out of that location.
Veggie + Tomato soup = crazy delicious
