I love Teller’s. I’ve been a regular there for a long time now. If you want a friendly bartender with the know-how to make most drinks and a willingness to learn the rest, you can’t beat Teller’s. The food is great, especially the wraps, and the ‘Create Your Own Salad’ has more options than I’ve ever seen before. If you go in and get food, prepare for a wait, as some of the dishes are a bit complicated, but it’s all worth the wait. If you decide to check it out, give the manager, Deb, a high five for me, and make sure you in Joffrey’s section.
Food was ok. .but not worth the price. Wait staff ignored us. No silverware. No coffee refills. Took way to long to be served sandwiches and he forgot our salad until we were done with the meal. And they had very few patrons that afternoon.
Great food, so so service, needs redecorating, musty smell, cold around windows
Used to go more often………. This was an absolute fav of ours, we went for dinner nearly every Friday evening. Don’t go so much any more. The food is always good though. Never had bad food there and have really had some outstanding food. The atmosphere has changed. The TV needs to GO. It’s like any other bar in town now. It used to be good soft music in the background and low soft lighting. Now its the glare of a TV that dominates the whole place. Sad. Still good food and decent service. Still love the ladies who own it. Still enjoy seeing the art, have even bought a few pieces. Can barely deal with the tavern atmosphere now. Like it better for lunch now I guess. Love to sit and gaze out onto Broadway while having drinks and dinner.
Haven’t been here in a while, now I remember why. Terrible service, mediocre food. This place survives by it’s late night bar crowd. Too bad, it’s a great place to watch people go by on Broadway.
Wish I could have my money back. Probably the worst service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The bartender was rude and unprofessional. I won’t be going back or recommending this place to any of my friends.
I like it here. After dining at Tellers for both lunch (many times!) and dinner as well as popping in during a somewhat ill conceived night of downtown bar hopping, I can say this is a real gem of a place. From the wraps and sandwiches to the occasional special soups that show up, I have been pleasantly surprised every time. Once, they had a spinach soup–sounds awful, right? It was the best! The art work on the walls changes every once in a while. Some very cool pieces of art live here.I’ve experienced pleasant, attentive service. A full, well stocked bar with entertaining bartenders rounds out the experience.
