Something’s wrong when the waitress tells you an hour wait to order breakfast and to get the buffet. Tried the buffet but choices were slim and cool. First and last trip in one. Shame on you Truman’s for a big disapponent.
Blue Collar and hard to beat. A fine blue collar sports bar with unbeatable beer specials. They have over 50 televisions/projection screens and the location is convenient. Only downside is that nasty fish tank right in the middle of the bar, ha!Really though, waitstaff is generally friendly and attentive. Food nothing to brag about, but hey, it’s a bar. If you like $1.50 corona’s and cute waitresses, this is your place.
Nice Character, Good Food. This is a classic sports bar that has tons of TVs, pool tables and good food. The interior has a log cabin feel but the technology makes viewing any sporting event(s) an easy task. The food is solid and during happy hour is very reasonable. Two draft beers, buffalo chicken strips and fries totaled $8.83. Not bad for a Friday night at 5pm. If there is an MU game on, there are no free drink refills, which is understandable as the crowds file in. There are also picnic tables outside, which can be nice if you want to get away from the noise and actually have a conversation.
We looked at the rating for the restaurant after sitting at a table found out it was actually Binghams, which is horriable. Check put Binghams rating! Don’t eat here! Expensive and tasteless!
Back again. This time for the NCAA Tourney. Standing room only for the MU game. The best service in town & cold beer. Always better than work!11 Mar, 2010This is my second home in Columbia. The bar is fun & the food is hot. Never a bad time. Great place to meet & eat.
Best breakfast in town. Good pub fare.
