Love the beef carpaccio! We love to just go have some small bites and drinks here. The carpaccio is a winner every time but so it’s the black pepper shrimp and the tots are melt in your mouth good. I’ve not had anything here that wasn’t delicious and the service is always great!

This restaurant is very chain like but nevertheless the food is still delicious! I prefer eating up stairs and if not to hot or to cold out on the deck where sometimes you can hear live music from the streets!

We just enjoyed a lovely lunch al fresco on the 2nd floor balcony. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which was good, not the absolute best I’ve had but good nonetheless. For main entrees we had the crab and shrimp cakes (which were EXCELLENT!) and bacon/fontina burger medium and cooked to perfection. Brio is and always has been a consistent dining experience for us. Looking forward to our next visit!

Delicious food and fantastic environment! The service was pretty good, and I left happy that I went. The interior was very classy and had a very romantic vibe. Good for a date night.

I liked my ricotta filled pasta in a cream sauce with bacon on top, but husband didn’t care for his chicken pasta dish. It is over-priced for the plaza crowd and decorated like a Cheesecake Factory inside.

Our waiter was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had the Sausage and Onion Jam Pizza as an appetizer and the Pasta Alla Vodka and the Grilled Chicken Under the Brick. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the pasta was incredible. The dining area was a little loud, but overall a wonderful restaurant. Definitely will be going back!

Very good Italian food. I always have a good experience at Brio. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been above par. I like their selection, which is very large and includes several veal dishes which I like. They also have one of the best happy hours on the plaza. Really cheap and the happy hour menu is tasty! For the best Italian in Kansas City go to Carmens in Brookside but for an above average Italian dining experience on the plaza check out Brio.
