My husband and I decided to try Glac after seeing a piece on the local news. Both of us were disappointed. His blackberry chocolate was overly sweet and my mint chocolate was inedible. It tasted nothing like mint – more like grass clippings. We won’t be back.

Seriously. It’s all good. To die for? The fleur de sel caramel or the spiced dark chocolate. Wonderful intensity of flavor.

Good Sweets at a Good Price. For a place with Artisan it its name, you’d expect high prices. However, at Glace, you can get a scoop of superb ice cream for less than $3. The Fleur de Sel Caramel flavor I got had the perfect balance of well browned caramel and sea salt.Bottom line: A great value for high-end ice cream.

Glace up!. Ice cream, the very stuff dreams are made of. Frozen phenomena, bliss in a bowl, contentedness in a cone. If it’s one of those miserable, humid, sweltering summer days that no shady awning can cure, ice cream is an oasis. If it’s a miserably cold, chilled down to the bone sort of winter night that grandma’s knit blanket can’t remedy, ice cream. Birthday party? Ice cream. Breakfast? Ice cream. Weight room? Ice cream. Just ice cream. And there’s no better place to ice cream than Glace, when you’re in the neighborhood. Or even if you’re not in it, find it. With killer combos like cilantro and pineapple or goat cheese and wildflower honey for the distinguished palate, and good ol’ sweet cream or mandarin orange sorbet for any range of tastebuds, Glace is sure to please. I swore I’d be adventurous my first visit…but once I spotted the blueberry crisp and bananas foster flavors, any decision had been effectively removed from my hands. I tasted every available flavor (each location differs ever so slightly) and they were all fantastic, though, so close your eyes and point and you’ll end up with magic. Each single order comes with dual scoops, which you can mix and match as you please. My scoop of blueberry crisp was otherworldly; smooth and creamy, with fresh blueberry and crumbles of still flaky pie crust swirled in. Scoop two, bananas foster, stood up to the already high expectations with a sweet, caramelized banana richness and velvety texture throughout. No need for added toppings or other fluff here, the full bodied fresh dairy and quality ingredients speak for themselves. Glace, because, ice cream.

Amazing! Saved a horrible birthday dinner at Gram & Dun by coming here for dessert. Always new flavors. Always locally sourced. If you like ice cream, you’re going to love this!!!

Delicious and affordable!. I usually do the three scoops for $4.50, which I think is pretty affordable for artisan ice cream. I’ve really enjoyed the Blackberry Chocolate Flake, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Earl Grey, Dark Chocolate, Carmelized Pineapple, and Cranberry.

Delicious. I’m not a big fan of ice cream. I can take it or leave it. That said, my recent visit to Glace was amazingly good. I tasted several varieties including beet/goat cheese and sweet corn. Both were good but I doubt if I would eat an entire cup of either of those flavors. I had lemon curd along side blackberry choc flake. Yes the serving size is small compared to other ice cream shops but when you have such a great quality product you don’t need to overindulge. If I was so enthralled with the ice cream, which I was, I can only imagine that an ice cream lover would be in paradise. Don’t make the mistake and over look this place. Oh, and the service was very friendly.
