New Favoirte!. I have an asian food addiction and Kokoro Maki House has landed on my regular rotation. I have been there twice so far and it was delicious both times. I have tried the Chicken Teriyaki and the Oyako Donburi. Haven’t tried the sushi yet. What I have tried was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I also like the semi-fast food style. Order at the counter and the food will be brought to your table. No waiting on wait staff or fussing over empty glasses. It’s pretty low-key so this isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for something fancy. The location is great for eating before going out on the town, being right down the road from the best bars in Waldo.
Spicy Pork!. This is one of my favorite lunch spots. The spicy pork is awesome!
Good Sushi for the money fresh ingredients and friendly service everytime.
So, so good. Beautifully prepared sushi in this little Waldo gem. Reasonably priced will keep us coming back for a long time. ps…. Best sushi in KC
Good sushi and it’s made quick. loved the chicken teriyaki. juns Japanese has TERRIBLE chicken. this place is way better and $7.95 vs Juns $11 (horrible)
Decent… will be back, I’m sure.. This is a great spot for a decently quick lunch. Terribly disappointed in the ramen, it was… just… ramen, like from the packages. The Hot Mama roll was very tasty and at $8.95 a sushi bargain. I’m still intrigued with their Korean offerings. I’ll be back to try the bim bim bap and kimchee.
Much cheaper than many sushi bars around and tastes just a GREAT!
