Sublicious. Planet Sub is the closest I have found to my childhood sub shop, Sub Shop in Columbia, MO. Almost a blatant copy, enough to make me wonder if the owners graduated from MU back in the day, so many similarities. I like the fact I can take a trip down memory lane in KC, so it’s cool by me. Every sandwich I have had has been exceptional, the service – great. The place is not super clean, but I’d not consider that enough of an issue to keep me out – I’ll be back, again and again and again and again.

Before the Jimmy John days…. This was my favorite sub place! I love the homemade wheat bread and the tastiness of the Italian sub. I still crave Planet Sub from time to time. It’s nice to know it’s still around. I love the fact that it’s a local chain too.
Like Subway, but it doesn’t suck like Subway.. These people take their subs seriously! With options like guacamole, roasted peppers, and olive salad, Planet Sub keeps things interesting for the taste buds. Their bread is made on site, and it’s delicious. All the employees and employee attire fit the stoner bill, which makes sense as they have forgotten items on my call in orders every time. So I eat in and don’t call in, and I like it a lot.
