Long wait, poor service, over priced.. If I’m going to spend $50 a head I want to be able to eat everything on my plate. When we told the server that as vegetarians we couldn’t eat some of the dessert items on our plate, he told us to eat the others.
Caramel Toffee Crunch. Not a huge fan of toffee but it was hardly detectable- birthday plate is in the picture as well- so good!! Don’t burn out on cheese because you need room for all of this!!09 Apr, 2015Great for a birthday!! My sister surprised me with a small dinner just us, my mother, and my friend. It was amazing! The waitress, Monique, explained everything to us and brought us an awesome broth! We were all so full because everything was so good!y favorite was the rice crispy treats and the blondie and brownie in the chocolate. If you go request Monique! She was great- thanks for snagging me the last tiara!09 Apr, 2015Great for a birthday!
Over priced. Fondue cooking is fun, no doubt, but not for the prices Melting Pot is charging you to do it. Add the fact the restaurant is underground with no natural light. I have never been back.
Melting pot. It was a very nice experience and the food was great. loved the fact that we cooked our own food at the table. very different and fun!!!!
Disappointing. Went there last year for our anniversary. I had not been to this place in 20 years. Nothing has changed which means they have not updated much of anything. Has a worn out, old basement look and feeling to it. The food was pretty good (I’d give it a B). The service is pretty awful We had to wait a half hour after we asked for the bill and I finally had to get up and search out the waitress. Our bill was about $125 for 2 people. For that amount of money you should get much better than they deliver here.
We love the Melting Pot and come here a few times a year. We were there today and our waiter was sub par. He said he had been there 5 years, and the only thing I can figure out is that he just has gotten lax. He had BO too. The portions were smaller-we had to ask for more apples and bread for the cheese and he forgot to give my son a plate, so he overcooked his meat. It is SO expensive that they need not be stingy on their portions! You can’t beat fondue tho, we’ll probably be back.
My favorite restaurant ever. So full when you leave and the experience is always amazing with good servers.
