Favorite sushi place!. LOVE LOVE ICHIBAN! Honestly, its probably one of the best sushi joints in St. Louis, it’s tucked away in the suburbs and it beats out fancy Clayton Sushi restaurants. I love the owners, they really are doing a fantastic job.I have always had FRESH SUSHI, Soft fresh rice, and the taste is always so good. The Jalapeno rolls so good and the sammy roll. My husband and I are never disappointed. Been going here for over 10 years and love it!!!! Amazing sushi place hidden in the suburbs.
Small portions of fish on sushi was disappointing. The Nabe Udon was very good.

The food was pretty good, but I wouldn’t’t go back simply because of the awful service.
First and Last. Yuck, yuck, yuck. The worst spicy salmon roll I have ever had. I was the only one in the restaurant during lunch so I thought it was going to be awesome.
Really good sushi. They aren’t shy with the amount of fish that they put in the rolls. Peaceful environment but may be because we were there at 5:30 on a weekday. Pretty cool place.
Love it!. They know how to keep the sushi ice cold and fresh. There is nothing I hate more than sushi that tastes like its been sitting around for a while. This place and wasabi are the best places for sushi if you want real sushi and not a deep friend roll with crunch on top… although I think they have that too…
