IMPORTANT READ. Since the corporate office refuses to help us and the manager WILLIAM refused to give us the name of the general manager, let me tell you about the experience me and my mother experienced at this location.We went in to get a takeout order a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday and was helped by a young lady who had her first day. At first, she rang out our order incorrectly and then had another cashier resolve the issue. My whole family works in restaurants, so we were not bothered by the minor inconvenience, this is where it starts….Although there were only about five people in the restaurant at this time, our food took about 15 minutes to bring out. We checked our food before we left because it felt light and sure enough we were missing half our order. We walked over to the manager and explained the situation, and it took him a few minutes to figure out exactly what we were missing. Then, instead of fixing the order right away, he proceeds to spend another five minutes or so doing other things around the restaurant while half of our order is sitting there on the counter getting cold. This is when we thought if we even wanted the food anymore,Once the manager WILLIAM finally fixes the order, he tells us that he really doesn’t appreciate the way we treated his employees. Let it be said that we never spoke to any other employees and made sure that the cashier knew we were not upset by what happened. He was simply just a manager with an ego that was trying to pass on blame to others while he has no sense of urgency.We asked for our money back, which he gave us (he also didn’t realize that he gave us too much money out of the register). When my mother asked who the manager was, he said his name was WILLIAM and that he was the manager. When she asked for the general manager’s name, he told us to have a nice day (as if we couldn’t find out on our own).I know that writing reviews like this online won’t help the situation and I know that many people love eating here given their high rating, but I hope this reaches out to many of you. We won’t be back.
Every time I go there, they are closed! It says their hours are until 8pm, however they are rarely open that late- so if it is close to 7:30, don’t waste your time!
Great for Call Ahead. McAlister’s makes it so easy to call in an order and avoid the lines when you pick up. Staff is very helpful; location is clean, outdoor seating available. Quick Tip: Triple Check your order before you leave, 9 times out of 10 something is missing. Do not rely on there method of bagging your order to mean it is correct. Even with this minor irration it is a good place for an easy take out meal.
The server brought me and a friend our food. She was rather rude and said we could figure out which one we had ordered. Shet set the plates down and walked away.
Love this place. This McAlister’s is always clean. The staff is friendly and attentive.Nice menu selection.
