A friend’s recommendation… Very fresh seafood, good service, lovely interior and reasonable prices. Don’t tell anyone or it will ruin it for those of us who actually like to have a conversation over dinner and drinks and be able to hear the other folks at the table. Bravo!
Went for the first time expecting fabulous stone crabs and was highly disappointed. You couldn’t get them out of the shells and were offered no assistance. They were tastetless and overpriced. $46 for five crabs !!And when I told the owner he could have cared less. Service was average. Can see no reason to ever go back

Great romantic dinner. We went to Gerard’s for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I was a little worried about the service, considered a couple of review I had read. We had a great experience there. The food was amazing: we both had the house salad: different from what you would expect, but delicious. We both decided for the tuna with their special red wine-soy sauce and it was amazing. The wine list is definitely exceptional: we went for a 97 Brunello. The service we had was truly great and we especially enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was quiet and we were able to enjoy our dinner without kids. We will come back for sure!
This restuarant is very rude. it caters to men with very little to say…. and insults women.
Mixed view. Our food was excellent from the appetizers through the entrees.However, the dining experience was ruined by the poorest service our party has experienced in years.Even though the food was outstanding, the level of service was so poor that we will not return to this establishment.
