Great Grocery Store!. This a great grocery store, only wish it stayed open past 9 pm. The selection is fair for a store of its size and prices competitive. Great hot food section. All employees are friendly and helpful. The added bonus is the liquor/wine samplings.
Thanks Schnucks. You’re an STL institution and you made the transition from suburban to urban flawlessly. The set-up is efficient, the inventory is excellent based on the size of the store and you made my life a heckuva lot easier. No more schelliping to the county!
GREAT Downtown Grocers. I have been in downtown grocery stores in Chicago and other cities – but this store in Downtown St. Louis is NICE! They have everything a regular suburban store has in a very cool and urban style space. The store is in a business district of downtown St. Louis just a few blocks from the downtown Macy’s store there. It is an awesome store!!!
This store is annoying. Every time I go in this store it is the most annoying grocery store I have ever been in. Being beckoned with plastic clapping hands that it is my time to come to the cash register is annoying and belittleing. That combined with really campy canned music which is like scratching your finger nails against the wall. If there was another grocery store nearby I would avoid Culinaria like the plague. The circus atmosphere here is just a little over board. Shopping here is kind of like talking to a valley girl.
