Leaky. Food was like what you can get anywhere else, and probably would be cheaper elsewhere. It’s really a bar, with a menu as an afterthought. But that’s not what made this the WEIRDEST experience ever. Apparently the roof was leaking in the restaurant, so their solution was to climb up a ladder, remove every ceiling tile one at a time, and remove a pan full of water, dump the water out, and replace the empty pan to once again catch the leaking water. Question? This apparently has been going on for sometime, as the pan’s were completely full, so why not just fix the leak? This was of course happening over the food prep area. Before we knew what was happening, we had already ordered our food and had been waiting for some time. It was like watching a bad movie – You paid $10 to see it, and you were too far into it to leave. So suffice it to say, I will not be going back the next time I visit STL.

Go there!. Went last week, had the bacon burger and fries. It was so good! juicy burger!, toppings were fresh, drinks were cheap too so that was a plus. Would definitely go there again!
Great Pizza. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while. We got the Joey’s Special and the 10 in. had a mound of toppings on it. We went on a slow day and were the only patrons there for a while..so service was quick and food was fresh. Will be back!
Went for lunch. Like the atmosphere & would give this place another chance, but first impression was mediocre. Had pretzel bites to start & washed it down with a Schlafly Pale Ale. Wife had a really good turkey reuben, but any reuben now Palestine in comparison to the Sunset Diner in Brook.lyn,NY.. I had the cowboy burger which was just ok. Individually the pieces were good, but it fell short when combined. The burger was moist, but someone subbed their toe on the garlic. The Bacon & BBQ sauce was good, but the cheek EOS like sauce helped to ruin it. Probably should’ve went with the fried cod. There’s always next time.
Awesome burgers. If you like sharp cheddar try the cheeseburger with cheddar. The cheese was dripping off the bun!! Yummy!!
Nastiest place I have ever eaten. My burger was so undercooked I couldn’t eat it. And our waitress never came back until the end so I just didn’t eat anything. Our original plans were to go to Morgan Street but they unfortunately are closed on Mondays. Do yourself a favor and eat at Morgan Street across the street, Joey’s is disgusting.
