Mango. Perfect experience! Thanks, Mike!
Birthday on 2/5. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING MY BOYFRIEND’S BIRTHDAY A VERY SPECIAL ONE!!! He enjoyed it so very much and I loved it as well. Our server Dezi was awesome and food was amazing. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer. TM
A Very Pleasant Evening Meal. My wife and I had a pre-show dinner here last month and had a genuinely enjoyable experience. Mango has a very nice, quasi-upscale contemporary environment that makes it a perfect date night getaway. Service was right on: our waitress was perfectly attentive and pleasant throughout our meal. Similarly, the food was very good. I had the Saltado de Champinoes (a mushroom dish) and my wife had the Tallarin Verde (a pesto pasta). Both were well presented and tasted great. The real hit of the night was dessert. I forgot the name of my dessert, but it was a dulce de leche cake, and oh man, it was epic!Bottom line: Great environment, great food, great service, and reasonable prices make this an easy recommendation.
Outstanding Peruvian place. I dined here on a Sunday evening with several colleagues while at a conference, and this place is a true pleasure. Lovely ambiance, terrific service, and exceptional food. The ceviche mixto was mouth-wateringly good, with just enough spiciness to bring out all the flavors. The empanadas — fantastic. Just a terrific place all around. I recommend it highly.
My favorite restaurant in St. Louis!! The mushroom dish is amazing and the plantains they give for the app are so good! Plus the atmosphere is great!
Upscale, enjoyable. My GF and have been wanting to try Mango and finally had dinner there last week. The atmosphere is very nice and the bar looked very comfortable. The menu is compact. There is a list of small, tapas style plates and a list of regular entrees. My GF had the loma saltado–beef, onions, rice and fries (we thought that was a bit heavy on the starch, but our waitress said that was classic Peruvian style). She like it, but it was not a huge portion. I made a meal of two small plates–the empanadas and the longastinos al Ajo. Both were excellent and came just as described on the menu. It is a bit pricey and you are paying for the atmosphere too. Still, it’s not out of line with comparable places. However, if you really looking for tapas, I would choose Modesto as they have a much more extensive menu.
I liked it a lot. Food was flavorful and I was happy with portion size. It’s a good location for large parties.
