Civeche and skewers of chicken, steak, and beef heart. So good. Went purely on recommendation of bar staff and glad i did. Also had a hazelnut old fashioned which was also very good.

We came here around 5 and decided to take dinner to go. While waiting for our food we sat at the bar and were given plantain chips with amarillo sauce which was amazing. I could have eaten bowl of just that. Also the bar tender was very friendly and he chatted with us while we waited. We got Ceviche de Pescado and Pescado a la Chorrillana. The Ceviche was specially very good. foodiemuggles.com

Nice atmosphere! Excellent service. You can order as you go so you can graze with your friends out of the small and large plates. Peruvian food – could not figure out what I wanted to drink. Mojito was good but didn’t go with food – too sweet. White wine okay. Really a beer might have been best. The food options were hearty with some seafood options. Most all served on pasta or rice, which is great because the sauce must be absorbed. Wanted yuca but you don’t really need another starch with the meal. Ceviche was excellent – light, large chunks of fish – well seasoned with lime and a crunchy starch I couldn’t ID – perfect app share. Chicken and Fava soup fairly bland – pass for something different. Shared the mushrooms on rice per the suggestions – excellent! Beef tenderloin options looked fantastic. Left room for the fried plaintains for dessert. Worth it! Sponge cake with caramel also quite good. Servers were friendly and efficient. Booths along window bad on the seat facing the back – street light glare is terrible through the window.
