Waffle Fries. We were in downtown St Louis for a convention, looking around for a decent place for lunch. Luckily, we discovered Montys. Their menu has a wide range of subs / sandwiches to choose from. The subs / sandwiches are of good quality. Montys specialty is French fries. The Waffle fries were delicious. There was a line, but the kitchen staff was fast & efficient. We recommend that you try Montys.
Great gourmet sandwiches for a good price. We went off the recommendation of one of the employees and got the Fidel Castro and Monty’s Melt with a side of parmesan fries. Everything was delicious! Servers are fast and friendly, I would definitely recommend this place. I wish I could have tried more, their whole menu looks great.
Neither mine nor my boyfriend’s sandwich was hot, the Reuben was way too salty and the Caesar salad way overdressed. The chicken noodle soup was also not hot and weirdly gelatinous and really really peppery. I was literally having hunger pangs when I walked in here and still didn’t eat any of it. Because it was that gross.
This place is fantastic!! Wonderful food.. Hand cut fries are the best (try them with parmesan)! And the service is beyond description! A great surprise find in downtown St Louis!
Amazing food! Family was site seeing in St Louis and saw the sign decided to try it out. The sandwiches are pretty big, the food is fresh, the best fries I’ve had in a long time. Military Discount and very kid friendly, one of the guys I’m assuming the owner or the manager brought over cookies for the boys and they were delicious as well. Hands down a fantastic place to visit if you’re in the area.
My girlfriend and I tried it bc we wanted to eat and a local place and it was amazing! Great St Louis cheese steak and parmasean fries!! She had double cheese burger that was just as good!! Went after closing time and didn’t turn us away so service was a ten!
Must Try!. I was recently in St. Louis for a conference and decided to try this sandwich shop since it was close to the convention center. I ended up eating lunch there 5 days in a row, trying something different everyday. Every sandwich I ate was just as good as the one before it, but I did end up falling in love with the pulled pork! Do yourself a favor and try this place!
