If you are craving the garlic cheese bread like I was, then stop and change your mind! It was served on a HOT DOG BUN! Are you serious? They might as well give them away for free. Also, our server asked us what kind of alcohol Maker’s Mark was. Seriously?
Good choice on the landing. My wife and I live a few blocks away and Morgan Street is one of our go to places when we go down to the landing. The food is good and we have never had, or have seen a problem with the staff. I suspect that the problem with some of the people writing negative reviews may have been with themselves. The weak point for me with Morgan Street has always been their beer which was not bad but not overly distinctive. The last few visits the beer selection has improved considerably with a black lager and an IPA on offer that are quite good. If you are in town looking for a decent place to eat downtown this is a good one, atmosphere, food, and beer.
Really good food and great service. Crab cake sandwich was delish. Beef sandwich on cheesy garlic bread was awesome. The rest of my group had ribeyes and absolutely loved them, especially the one with the spicy rub. Cool atmosphere. If you’re choosing between this and Hannegan’s next door, choose this first. Hannegan’s was quite good, but it’s a unanimous decision for Morgan Street Brewery.
FOOD & DRINK. I went to Morgan Street on Friday Feb17th.The food and service was great . I was disapointed by the beer selection of only five beers on tap. I did enjoy the beers that where available especially the Red Lager very good .Also had the Pilsner and the Harvest Lager . I wouldnt go out of my way to go there only if I was downtown for a ball game for more beer choices I will head to the Furgeson Brewhouse or Schlaflys for that . Dave
Good pizza with a smoky flavor. Wife and I love eating here when we come for Cardinal games. Beer is good.
