I really liked the service and the food. I will return next time I am in St Louis. The place is nice and the location and all that goes with downtown St Louis makes it nice.
Worst dinner anywhere in a longtime. I travel a lot for work and don’t always get to choose where our team has dinner. Next time I’ll speak up. The blue cheese on the icy cold salad was bland. The white clam sauce was terrible. It had a few small bits of clam drowning in some half cream canned sauce. Seriously doubt the food judgement of anyone who says they love this place.
Food? meh. But it’s a beautiful room in a great downtown spot by the river.
I have been to the restaurant probably three times since moving to Illinois and it’s always a great experience.
Overall B. Our wait was less than was estimated by our hostess. We enjoyed the atmosphere – dimly lit with comfortable furniture. For appetizers we had fried ravioli which were like ones you would get at any Italian-style restaurant in this class. Also had what I believe was labeled an olive bruschetta. If you like muffeletta then you will like this. I had pasta with the garlic mizithra and browned butter, and with the white clam sauce. Enjoyed every bite. Others at our table had spinach tortellini and liked it as well. Our server, Phil, was bright, articulate, enthusiastic, and above all attentive. Based on my own experience I will definitely go back.
Service was great! The food was delicious. Our children got the kids mac’n’cheese which was just ok. My husband and I both loved our meals of the garlic mizithra and lasagna. Would definitely come back!
False wait time was given. We called ahead and upon arrival our name was not even down. Then we were told to wait 35 min. We have been here for over an hour and 45 minutes. Our five year old is about asleep on an empty tummy and we are from out of state…
