This place really gets to show off St. Louis’ old history. It’s a fancy and nice atmosphere. I think the food is delicious and looks amazing. Service isn’t always great though.
Came here tonight with not too many expectations. Dinner was great compared to our last experience at another establishment. Food was authentic and delicious and got a full 3 course meal: salad, entree and dessert for under 15$. Ambiance was nice, quiet and romantic.
Not great. The food was mediocre, the service was pitiful. The best part of the meal was the ice cream which…was more than likely pre-made since it had slight freezer burn on it. The server never refilled our drinks though we asked 3 times. He was in a bigger hurry to deliver the check than our drinks. Though we had planned to be there for a while and enjoy family time we were all more than ready to go as soon as dinner was through. Bread – hard Lemonade – watered down (and sparse!)Pasta – under sauced alfredo, and over acidic marinaraIce cream – nice, because I didn’t need a drink to eat it with!
