We were staying at the Hyatt and decided to give the breakfast buffet a try. It was priced at $20 per person. While the food was ok, we didnt feel it merited a price of $20 per person. What really made the experience bad was the service. The waitress was more interested in serving larger tables rather than tables for one or two. Obviously this was reflected in her tip. My advice, skip the buffet, the overpriced menu, and the horrible service. Its not worth it.
I sat at the bar and had amazing service from the bartender Thomas. He was very attentive, social and recommended the apple tart for dessert and it was perfect. The Caesar salad was good, I got shrimp in it and was slightly disappointed in that because it wasn’t seasoned, just boiled like shrimp cocktail. Thomas went above and beyond to chase down some cocktail sauce for me though so it worked out. They had focaccia bread and it was delicious as well. I would recommend it to anyone just wanting a relaxing and nice dinner.
Good food, so-so service. We had breakfast here recently, and while most of the table opted for the buffet (for around $13), I decided to order off the menu. The zucchini and goat cheese frittata was served in an individual sized skillet with a side of ciabatta toast. The frittata was good, though very rich, and I would have preferred a bit less goat cheese. The toast, which was grilled, was very good with the frittata, but I wished there had been more than one piece. The service was a little slow, and our drinks were not filled often, but the waiter was pleasant, even offering me fruit from the buffet while I waited on my order. Everyone else at the table enjoyed the buffet, especially the omelets, and for the price, it was a very enjoyable meal.
