Dmd. Very best Italian sausages ever. Try the Sicilian style garlic. I am from outside kc, but always worth the drive. Lot of character to this place. Employees are super nice and helpful with selections. Thanks.

Hands down the best Italian Deli in a KC! The number one extra spicey is what I might ask for if I ever have the misfortune of having to pick my last meal ! I will drive the exra miles in order to go here any day. I don’t think i can ever look at Marco Pollos the same this is way better!
Love it!. I always forget about this place, but I’m making a point to go there more. The sandwiches are fantastic! They also have a nice selection of cookies and desserts, an enormous selection of dried pasta, olive oils and the biggest selction of olives in the city.
Good Food In KC’s River Market. I work in the River Market and Carollo’s is a regular stop for me. Their sandwiches are made to order and filling. My two favorites are the Caprese and the Steak & Cheese (with extra mushrooms!). They have great shelf items as well … from pasta to giardiniera and their service is impeccable. BTW, they have the best Cannoli I’ve ever eaten!
Now that’s Sicilain. The food is fresh, served to you with touch of ture old world charm. You find a bigger or better sandwich for the money please tell me. Remeber open all year round, summer is not the only time to vist the oldest farmer’s market in the country. try the susage, take it home and cook it.5 stars
