Great little spot in the City Market. They sell Caciocavallo cheese for crying out loud. I’m pretty sure this is literally the only place in town that offers it. Just for that they get a 5.0. But the sandwiches are great to if you stop in for lunch. Interested in trying the giant turkey legs one day.

I grew up eating & shopping at the Italian delis in New York not to mention I was raised by my Italian Nana, so I take my food seriously! 😛 I moved to KC years ago & couldn’t find a great sandwich shop until this place. My favorite, the #4 Caprese; fresh mozzarella cheese, basil, tomato & vinegarette…mmm! Of course I cannot go there without getting some fresh Italian cookies…and of course a cannoli. The best I’ve had outside of NY. I’d post a picture but I ate it all.
True Italian Sandwiches. This is THE place for an Italian sandwich. The individual ingredients don’t sound like much, but they are more than the sum of their parts. There is nowhere I would rather go for a sandwich. While I’m at it, there is nowhere I would rather go for a cannoli either. Best cannoli I’ve had so far.
