Fantastic dining experience from start to finish in every way. When it comes to fine dining Im pretty ruff on restaurants. Things Ill overlook at a lesser establishment Ill point out when a level of expertise is claimed or implied. Pierpoint left little to complain about. From the hostess to our server the staff was top notch. The food likewise was the best weve experienced in K.C. so far. Fine touches like the perfectly crisped skin the striped bass or the perfectly flash fried spinach in the Fritto Misto or the sweet creamy lobster in the Orechiette took the meal from good to great. The historic surroundings and visually amazing bar just sent it over the top. My one and only critique would be that the goat cheese grits lacked creaminess and goat cheese flavor.
