Their Bloody Mary is delicious, smoky, & tastes very light (for a BM). The Lord Kenzo is exactly what you need if you want to carb load and make it worth it.
We went for brunch this morning and although the food and service were great, I will not come back to this restaurant. It is so so loud in there that my ears were buzzing. We asked to sit somewhere else and the hostess was very nice and moved us. Well unfortunately, the noise level is the same anywhere you sit. I could barely hear my friends sitting next to me. It’s too bad because everything else was great.
I came in here for lunch after a doctor’s appointment next door. I sat at the bar and chatted with the bar manager, a couple of regulars, and ended up making some new friends! The pasta special was a smoked shortrib lasagna with fresh ricotta, and it was absolutely fantastic. On Facebook, they had posted that the reward for finishing the special was a high-five, so I got a good one! Even better, their coffee comes with a french press and raw sugar. Really liked this place. Service was fun, informative, friendly and fast. Food was also very good and decor is very cute. We will be back.
The food here is packed with flavor, sometimes it’s to much. The chef carefully makes sure all the ingredients tie together to compliment the dish the best he can. I didn’t love my dish, but it was decent and others in my party really did like what they got. The service could have been a little better but overall it was a pleasant experience.
The Farmhouse in River Market, has a great atmosphere, great service and great food. We generally eat breakfast. The coffee is served in a French press, very delicious.
Party of 5 on Saturday night, arrived early and seated at best table in the house (raised in front window). 4 different custom cocktails, 3 different appetizers, 4 different meals & 3 desserts. Allwerewonderful and the check, at $325 including a 20% gratuity, was not enough for the food, service & atmosphere. This fall will see us in KC, we will use the light rail from Crown Center and return for the Chicken Tagine.
