Do not eat here. We had tickets to the Cher concert last night and looked for a restaurant close to the venue. Bistro 14 came up, although the reviews were not very good I thought they may have just had an off night. No this place was awful. The server came to our table after we were there for about 10 minutes dropping her cell phone out of her pocket and telling us how she was late getting to work and was in trouble then it took her another 10 minutes to get my drink and my sisters was yet another 5 minutes. The food was not at all as described on the menu and was mediocre at best. Then when we get the bill we charged for a salad which was never delivered and two extra drinks. Please don’t waste your time and money going here.
Worst service on the planet. Went to their Prime Rib Buffet on Friday night. They seemed completely unaware that they are next door to a sports arena and that anything was happening there. Despite having made reservations we still had to wait for our table. We never NEVER had a server come and give us water or take a drink order. The girl carving the prime rib took pity on us and got us glasses and a pitcher of water. They only set out 16 brownies for dessert, despite the fact that they had a full house and a line and never replenished while we were there. Again the girl carving the prime rib went to the kitchen and snagged me a brownie which I then split 6 ways with my family so that everyone could have a bite. We eventually had to track down a manager to even get our bill and let him know how unhappy we were with never getting any service except from the carver. He reduced our bill, but it was mind boggling that they were so unprepared to have customers on a Friday night when the hotel was sold out and was next to the Scottrade center where the NCAA was happening. Still don’t know what their staff was doing given that it was a buffet and running drinks and checks was their only function. Food was ok, but could not recommend.
