Great lunch counter for anyone who works on Washington Ave. Addictive hummus and pita (perfectly warm and doughy) is my go-to. And those cookie bars are worth the calorie splurge.
Yummy food, strong coffee, delightful setting. NOT closed on Tuesdays. So good!
Poor service. We went, as a party of 5, for brunch around 11am on a Saturday. I read great reviews on here so gave it a shot while on our trip from Alabama. There was a large bridal party taking up the majority of the restaurant (including taking up a 6-top solely for the purpose of setting their presents on). We waited for over 20 minutes as the only people waiting for a seat. One worker could not even tell me if they were serving breakfast or lunch. Finally a worker came up and suggested we go across the street to Lucas as she could not tell me how much longer we would be waiting. Our experience at Lucas was excellent! Very disappointed in wasting so much time trying to eat.
I loved this place! Happened to stumble upon it with some of my friends, and ordered breakfast not really knowing what to expect. The food was delicious and my friend happened to get a chocolate chip cookie which was to die for! Definitely will be coming back for a latt again sometime soon!
Great choice when relaxing after a City museum experience. Outdoor patio refreshing. Food well prepared and well portioned.
Great atmosphere
Very cozy place to sit and read while enjoying a variety of beverages. As someone who orders hot tea anywhere its available- this is my top choice in the downtown area.
