    Good food, not so good service. I ate at Hard Rock Cafe today with my family at your St Louis Union Station location. I was very disappointed when we left to found out that the waitress scammed us for $3 on our payment. We had a $20 prepaid visa card that we wanted to use toward our bill and the rest on our credit card. When the waitress returned she told us that the prepaid card would not work for $20. She said she went down incrementally a dollar at a time until it worked at $15. The receipt provided shows a $15 charge. When I got home I contacted visa to see what the problem was, it turned out the problem was the waitress. There was never an attempt to charge the card $20. After we approved the $15 charge she applied her own $3 tip to the card that we did NOT approve making the total charge on that card $18. Again we did NOT approve that and that is not what the receipt I have says. I am very disappointed that we had money stolen from us at your restaurant. I left a message for the manager and was told he would call back. After 24 hours I called them due to no return call. The manager didn’t take the waitress’s name, ask any details and basically said it happens. She offered a small gift card or a refund of the overage back to our card if we came back in. The treatment at this restaurant is unethical and unacceptable. Thankfully, Hard Rock corporate is taking this more serious and requested our detailed information. $3 is not the point. The point is, this was theft of our money, I can only imagine we are not the first to have this happen here.UPDATE!!! 5/29/2014We received an email from the General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe St. Louis, and copied on the email was the President, Vice President and a few other people. To try and make amends, they charges on our credit card were refunded, an apology was given, it was stated that they were going to have a meeting with all staff members to avoid this type of situation again and a care package is going to be sent out to us.Overall, we feel better about the situation. We were saddened that it took an email to their corporate offices to get this action compared to when we called the site location. I imagine that we will be back in the future, the food was very good.

    Just Drinking. My friend and I went here to have some drinks and the drinks were pretty good and the service was awesome!

    Union Station has certainly seen better days. We stopped here as one of the more sanitary looking resturaunts. The food was good, although a little over priced. Great staff.

    Dissapointed. While on vacation we were looking for a fun lunch at the Hard Rock. This is a small Hard Rock but that didn’t bother me, it was well decorated. Our waiter was unattentive, and informed us of a list of about 10 things the restaraunt was out of because the truck hadn’t been unloaded. My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich and was informed that they didn’t have the bbq sauce he wanted when the food arrived- ridiculous! We should have skipped the meal and just bought a t-shirt.

    Everytime we are in St. Louis we come here. The food is great and service has always been helpful, friendly and timely!
