Tonight we ate with friends and kiddos before hopping onto the Santa Express. I can’t remember our waitress’s name, but I wish I had because she was so nice! We were a table of 7 adults and 7 children under 8 years old, plus we had a time crunch! She easily kept track of our split orders, very promptly and kindly cleaned up a spill, kept our drinks refilled and brought of food promptly and at one time. Really, really good service!I ordered a pomegranate mule (sorry, forgot a picture), and it was very, very good. My nachos were ‘ok’…the toppings were slim compared to the amount of chips, but overall I was pleased. My husband ordered the the hickory BBQ bacon burger which he insists is a FIVE star rating (I’m only giving a 4.5 because the nachos). The kids had cheese pizza with orange wedges and mac and cheese with French fries. Pizza and mac and cheese appeared fresh (not frozen or boxed). Both adult and kid menus had lots of options for anyone’s tastes…I really appreciate the variety of choices (and healthy ones) for the kids…I only wished my kids would have picked something better tonight! HA!
